With a background in banking, governance and strategic advice, Anne now practises as a professional director and consultant.
She enjoyed early careers in journalism and diplomacy, and time as a Treasury policy advisor. Her career has spanned both public and private sectors in New Zealand, the US and the UK, including the not for profit sector.
Her current governance portfolio includes a span in the banking and finance sector and a span in infrastructure sectors.
Anne’s board appointments over time have included seven central government entities and four regional government entities.
Director, Howard & Company
Ant Howard is a former chief executive of Wang New Zealand, which under his leadership listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.
Following his career at Wang, Ant headed the IT division of Blue Star Group before founding Howard & Company.
His wide experience with public and privately owned companies gives him depth and breadth of expertise in strategy development, go to market planning and execution, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, company valuations, business strategies and planning. Ant has particular expertise and passion for building highly effective leadership teams and facilitating a strong and constructive working dynamic between investors and owners.
Ant currently has directorship appointments with MetService, GFG Group, GeoSmart, PayGlobal and Howard & Company.
Chief Executive, Leadership New Zealand
Sina is a Pacific woman of Samoan, German and English descent. She is committed to helping grow a generation of authentic and ethical leaders for 21st century leadership, developing leadership, governance and the strategic capability of organisations and communities.
Sina previously held executive roles in sales management, learning and organisational development with Telecom Directories, and the NZ Institute of Management before her appointment as founding Chief Executive for NiuFM and the Pacific Media Network - the first national Pan-Pacific radio broadcasting network.
Sina is currently the Chief Executive of Leadership New Zealand, an organisation with a vision to grow, celebrate and weave together Aotearoa New Zealand’s diversity of leaders.
