First Angel Network
Ross is Co-Founder and Director of the First Angel Network Association. He has been an angel investor since 2000 and is a board member of the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO), director of the Angel Capital Association (ACA), and a trustee of the Angel Resource Institute. He is a recognized facilitator, senior business consulting professional and strategic change consultant who has an extensive background in public, private and not-for-profit sectors. In 2002 Ross was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal for outstanding community service through his efforts in numerous charities.
Dana is an unconventional angel investor. She started investing while in Switzerland, inspired by a legend in the angel investing arena, Brigitte Baumann, in the early days of setting up her Go Beyond organization in 2008. Dana was part of Go Beyond’s first investing group in France. Such exposure helped define her own investment style and pattern recognition of what she deems an auspicious mix of elements that back a successful company. In New Zealand since 2014, Dana has made several investments via the IceAngels and currently serves on the Boards of IceAngels (ViceChair) and Dexibit (Chair).
Independent Director, Mentor & Advisor
Debra is an independent director, mentor and advisor, with a number of public and private governance and advisory board roles. She is on the Angel Association New Zealand (AANZ) Executive Committee and is a past board member of Ice Angels and is an active NZ angel investor. In 2015, she was awarded the W.H.Payne “Active Angel” Award in recognition of her work in the angel investment community, most notably the development of a governance training course for new and aspiring directors of angel-backed companies.
Flying Kiwi Angels
Rudi is a co-founder and 'chief cat herder' of Flying Kiwi Angels, and ADI.Clinic which provides founder advise between Queenstown and Whangarei. He has been investing in startups since 2010. He is a director of, now UK-based bookaPark, and US-focused Aisleworx, and he is on the advisory board of ANZ-crowdfunder Equitise. Rudi was the co-founder of a UK based SAP focused business, growing it from two to over 400 staff within nine years before exiting by trade sale in 1999.
