Mark is Managing General Partner of Quidnet Ventures, a New Zealand deep tech venture capital fund investing at seed stage across agritech, aerospace, biotech, advanced materials, quantum technology, climate tech, and AI. With a PhD in Physics, Mark brings both scientific rigour and commercial acumen to his investment work. He has served as Chair of Rakon Limited (NZX-listed) and Chair of the Bay Area Science and Innovation Consortium (BASIC), and writes on economic policy and 21st century governance. Mark is a leading voice on the conditions needed to grow New Zealand's deep tech ecosystem and connect local founders with global capital.
Philippa Weston

Philippa is a Partner at Pencarrow and has over 20 years' experience in investment management, including strategic planning, corporate governance, operational and financial management. Prior to joining Pencarrow in 2012, Philippa was Head of Investments at Kiwibank and was previously AMP Capital Investors’ Chief Operating Officer. Philippa is a qualified lawyer, and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration. Philippa is currently a director of Skin Institute, New Zealand Frost Fans and Red Shield and was previously a director of MMC and Essano.

Greg is the Chief Financial Officer at DataMasque. He has a demonstrated history of working in global information technology, retail and services industries.
He is skilled in implementing new systems, change control, employee training and strategic planning. Greg loves surfing and spending time away in the Hauraki Gulf fishing and diving. His favourite place in the world is Great Barrier Island.
